So it's been all over the news. Fake profiles created on the top dating sites on the planet. This really doesn't surprise me one bit. Cash in on the lonely. It'll never change. Putting yourself in the shoes of a person desperately trying to make a connection with someone. Maybe even finding their soulmate, then in turn shattering any hopes by creating profile and sending staff out on dates with them? Come on people!!
There are plenty of free services out there that are in fact perfectly free, or charge so little you wouldn't hesitate to pay. Match.com and and yahoo personals charge insane amounts of money to capitalize on those seeking "the one". Honestly what do you expect? Every site has to start somewhere and unfortunately consumers are the ones to suffer.
Casualkiss.com is a prime example of what a free dating site can do for people. Sure, they offer premium memberships that allow you to post more pictures, being able to block people and regions, but typically you can motor along just fine in the community section.
This site was Canadian made. It started out free for over 3 years and built up a huge following. It's not your typical site. Of course there's global masses of men and women to email and try and get to know. On the flip side for the inquisitive theres the picture rating, chat boards open to all, chat rooms, events posted and made by users, free webcam broadcasting over the site for personal information privacy, every type of user club imagineable, free on site blogging, horoscopes, profile uploadable voice and video clips to your profile for all to see, profile appearance and sound personalization to whatever the user wishes, homepage links and so many more options it's unbelievable. All of this for free. The only stipulation is that "free users" do not post external email addresses. All of the features above are available for free users for the most part. A bit limited, but they ask a mere $29.95 for an entire year on their site at "gold status". That's what? $2.50/month? If you ask me that's MORE than fair since some sites ask that on a monthly basis, or you pay more than that in "credits" monthly and don't even offer half the features and options Casualkiss does.
All in all, be an informed consumer.
